Imran's judicial remand in Cipher case extended till September 13
( PTI) Islamabad , dt. 30 The special court of Pakistan has extended Imran Khan's judicial remand till September 13 in the Cipher case. Because of this, the way of immediate release of the former Prime Minister of Pakistan from prison has now been closed. Justice Abul Hasnat Zulkarnain came to Attock jail in Punjab province for the hearing. Due to security reasons, his hearing was arranged in the jail itself. It may be mentioned that a classified government document missing in the Cipher case was waved by Imran Khan in a public meeting last year. Khan, 70, has been lodged in Attock jail since August 5 after being convicted in the Toshakha corruption case. It may be mentioned that yesterday a two-member bench of the Islamabad High Court quashed his sentence.
