Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan is currently in jail. A Pakistani court on Monday dismissed the sedition case against PTI Chairman Imran Khan. Meanwhile, there is news that Imran Khan is being served country chicken and mutton cooked in ghee in Attock Jail.
According to the information received, the Supreme Court of Pakistan has been informed that the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is being provided all facilities in Attock Jail considering his profile and legal status. The Supreme Court sought a report to know the condition of Imran Khan in the jail, after which the Attorney General's office submitted a report to the court on behalf of the jail administration in which this disclosure has been made.
Imran Khan was kept in the most secure confinement of the prison
Block No. 02, the most secure confinement in Attock Jail, was evacuated and tight security was put in place. About the facilities, the jail system said that Imran Khan has been kept in a 09x11 size cell. The court was told that Imran Khan's closet has been changed to white. The floor is cemented and a fan is installed on the ceiling.
These facilities will be found in the toilet
The toilet used by former Prime Minister Imran Khan has been extended to 7x4 feet and its wall has been raised by five feet, the report said. Along with this, a 2-12x5 ft fiber door has also been installed in it. On the other hand, a new toilet seat, shower, tissue stand and stainless steel faucet have been installed. A large glass wash basin was also installed for bathing and face washing.
A mat was provided for offering Namaz
Imran Khan has been given a mattress to sleep on, four pillows, a table, a chair, a mat for offering prayers and an air cooler. Apart from newspapers, Khan has also been given reading materials including four copies of the Holy Quran with English translation and 25 books on Islamic history, the report said.
