In an Indonesian school, 14 female students had all their hair cut off because they did not wear hijab properly. All the hair on her head was cut off as a punishment for wearing hijab badly.

She was punished by the school management for not wearing hijab properly. The headmaster of the school said that these students did not wear hijab properly.

Indonesia is not generally known as a strict country but some areas have strict dress codes for women. However, in 2021, mandatory dress code was banned in schools in the country.

However, according to social activists, Muslim and non-Muslim girls are forced to wear hijab in the country.

The incident took place at a government junior high school in East Java. For this, on August 23, a class teacher ordered 14 Muslim female students to cut off all their hair. The teacher has not been identified but has been suspended.
