Indian-origin candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, who is presenting his strong candidacy for the presidential election in the United States from the Republican Party, says that a strong relationship between India and the United States can end America's dependence on China and Taiwan.

He urged that America should strengthen its relations with India, South Korea and Japan. He believes that America is economically dependent on China today, but if there are strong relations with India, America will not have to depend on China. America also needs to maintain strong military cooperation with India in the Andaman Sea. India is also capable of blockade of the Straits of Malacca if required. Most of the oil is supplied to China from this route.

Ramaswamy said that America depends on Taiwan for semiconductors. Until America finds no other option in the region, America has to protect Taiwan against China. At the same time, Taiwan needs to focus on strengthening its military.

A growing number of people in America are now taking note of Ramaswamy's statements. In a recent debate on a TV channel, the number of people saying that Ramaswamy's performance was better was higher than any other candidate of the Republican Party except Trump. Trump did not participate in this debate.

Ramaswamy's supporters say that he is the only candidate who has clearly said that America will protect Taiwan.
