The conflict between Japan and China is becoming more serious day by day. Enmity between Japan and China is decades old. Also, after Japan released toxic water containing radioactive substances into the sea from its Fukushima reactor, China has become more agitated.

China protested against the release of water from Japan. Japan also received threatening calls from China. However, from August 24, Japan has started releasing water. As a reaction to this, there have been attacks on the Japanese embassy and schools in China. There has also been an incident of stone pelting and Japanese PM Fumio Kishida has expressed his displeasure against it.

He has said that stones have been thrown at our embassy and schools in China. I condemn this kind of attack. We have summoned China's ambassador to Japan. China appeals to its citizens to maintain peace.

On the other hand, the security of the Japanese embassy in China has been increased after this incident. Japan has also advised its citizens living in China to be vigilant and not to use the Japanese language in public.

Japan has challenged China that China is not giving proper information to its citizens regarding the release of radioactive water from the Fukushima reactor. Because of this, Chinese citizens are being misled.

It is worth mentioning that this is the same Fukushima reactor whose plant exploded during the 2011 tsunami in Japan and has since stored 133 million liters of radioactive water. With the consent of the UN, Japan has now started releasing it into the sea in stages.
