Wagner secretly buried Chief Prigozhin, staged a coup against Putin

There is a war going on between Russia and Ukraine, meanwhile a private army called Wagner rebelled in Russia. The rebellion was hushed up, but Wagner chief Prigozhin was pulling President Putin like an apple of his eye. Prigogine died mysteriously in a private jet crash. However, Russia clarified that this incident has nothing to do with the rebellion of Wagner's group.

Prigozhin was laid to rest last Tuesday in a secret ceremony in St. Pittsburgh. He was buried at the Porokhovskoe Cemetery amid a tight security cordon. Common people were not allowed to join the funeral procession. The private army Wagner group announced that anyone who wanted to join the funeral procession. Ukrainian officials alleged that Prigozhin's funeral had to be kept secret in view of public protests and uprisings.

Mykhailo Podolyak, a political adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, wrote on the messaging app Telegram that Wagner's secret funeral for former president Prigozhin was a perfect symbol of Putin's real fears. Prigozhin's secret funeral seemed to mark the end of an extraordinary chapter in Russian history. An AFP photographer noticed a stick bearing the sign of a cross behind Prigozhin's grave. Prigozhin was also awarded the Hero of Russia for the highest service to the country.
