Abu Dhabi's first Hindu temple in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was opened to the general public on Friday. On February 14, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the first Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi made of stone. The temple administration has issued guidelines for devotees and devotees visiting the temple on its website. In which the rules from dress code to photography and videography are stated.

According to the guidelines mentioned on the temple website, people wearing T-shirts, hats and tight fitting dresses will not be allowed entry into the temple. The guidelines state that hats, T-shirts and other clothing with objectionable designs are not permitted. Avoid wearing mesh or see-through and tight-fitting clothing.

In the guidelines, it has been said that even pets should not be allowed in the temple premises. Apart from this, outside food and drinks are not allowed in the temple premises. Also drone cameras or drones are prohibited inside the temple premises. According to the guidelines, the temple will be open from 9 am to 8 pm from Tuesday to Sunday. Every Monday the temple will be closed for devotees.

The temple has been built at a cost of around Rs 700 crore on a 27-acre area near Al Rahbani on the Dubai-Abu Dhabi Sheikh Zayed Highway. The land for the temple has been donated by the UAE government. This temple is built in Nagar style. This is how the Ram temple has been built in Ayodhya. According to Umesh Raja, a volunteer at the temple, more than 20,000 tons of limestone pieces were carved in Rajasthan and brought to Abu Dhabi in 700 containers.

Bochasan resident Sri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) said on Twitter, “The wait is over. The Abu Dhabi temple has now been opened to all devotees and devotees. It is also mentioned that the temple will be open from 9 am to 8 pm on all days except Monday.
