He will become the 24th Prime Minister of Pakistan. 201 votes were cast in his support in the National Assembly, while the opposition PTI's PM candidate Omar Ayub Khan got 92 votes. He will take the oath of office of the Prime Minister tomorrow at 3.00 pm at Rashtrapit Bhavan. Army Chief General Asim Munir, Interim Prime Minister Anwarul Haque Kakar, Chief Minister and Governors of all states will also be present in this ceremony.

An appeal to pass a resolution for the independence of Kashmir

Due to the intervention of the international community, peace has been restored in countries like Sudan, Somalia, and Iceland. Shahbaz mentioned these three countries and appealed to pass a resolution against it in Palestine, Gaza and Kashmir. He appealed to the opposition MPs to work together for 'freedom of Palestine and Kashmir'.
