VIDEO: Explosion at election rally in Pakistan, 4 dead including 3 PTI workers


Bomb Blast In Pakistan : 4 people have died in a bomb blast today in Balochistan, Pakistan. The deceased also included three activists of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). The blast took place during a rally organized by the party a few hours after Imran Khan was sentenced to 10 years in jail.

PTI's Balochistan-based provincial general secretary Salar Khan Kakar shared the video on the party's X account and said, 'Three workers of Tehreek-e-Insaf were martyred and 7 injured in this incident.'

Death toll likely to rise

Regarding the incident, the Medical Superintendent of Sibi District Headquarters Hospital Dr. Babar told Pakistan's Dawn newspaper that five people were injured in the blast. According to the report, the injured have been shifted to the hospital. Officials said that the condition of most of the injured is critical and the death toll may rise.

Chaos at the scene

A video of the explosion has also been circulating on social media. It is seen in the video that after the loud explosion at the scene, there is chaos among the PTI workers. PTI leader Salar Khan Kakar said, 'There has been an explosion in the election rally organized by the party's candidate Saddam Tareen. We strongly condemn this incident and demand that terrorists be crushed instead of PTI workers.

Elections in Pakistan on February 8

Elections are scheduled to be held in Pakistan on 8th February, although the blast happened 9 days before that. The Election Commission of Pakistan said, 'The blast incident has been taken into consideration and an immediate report has been sought from the Chief Secretary and Police Chief of Balochistan.'
