Ex-PM of Pakistan Imran Khan sentenced to 10 years in jail, court sentenced in cipher case

Former Pakistan PM Imran Khan Jail: Former Pakistan Prime Minister and PTI chief Imran Khan has been sentenced to 10 years in jail in the cipher case. Along with Imran, his aide and former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has also been sentenced to 10 years in prison.
What is a cipher case?
After the fall of Imran Khan's government in Pakistan in April 2022, Imran claimed that the US and then Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa had conspired to topple his government. He was informed about this conspiracy by the then Pakistani ambassador to America, Asad Majeed Khan, through a secret letter. In diplomatic parlance this letter is called a cipher.
This cipher was sent by the US State Department to Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Imran Khan released this letter in several election rallies last year. Imran claimed that his government was overthrown by the army at the behest of America. Legally, the letter is a national secret, which cannot be shown in public places.
