220 children died of cold in Pakistan in three weeks

- 10,500 cases of pneumonia reported in Pak in a month
- 990 children died of pneumonia in Pakistan's Punjab province last year
New Delhi: More than 200 children have died due to cold in the Punjab province of Pakistan in the last three weeks. The death is said to be due to pneumonia. The reason behind this is the extreme cold in Pakistan. This number of children's deaths has not been given by the opposition or the media, but the caretaker government of Pakistan itself has accepted this.
The caretaker government in Pakistan's Punjab province has said that malnutrition is the cause of most child deaths. Most of the children who died with it were not even vaccinated against pneumonia. Due to this, the immunity of these children was very weak.
Punjab government has already said that morning assembly in schools should not be held till 31st of this month. This decision has to be taken due to the cold.
Since the beginning of January 1 this year, a total of 10,500 pneumonia cases have been reported in Pakistan's Punjab province. In this month, 220 children have lost their lives due to pneumonia. 47 deaths have occurred in Lahore.
In this way the death of children can increase the problem of the caretaker i.e. the functioning government. In Pakistan, the government has told people to make their children wear masks and wash their hands regularly. Last year 990 children died due to pneumonia in Punjab. The government of Pakistan is trying to deal with such concerns by providing health facilities as quickly as possible to the people.
