Moscow, New Delhi: As the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza intensifies, a large number of Palestinian supporters stormed the landing area and closed the airport in the city of Makhchkala in the Dagestan region of southern Russia. These protesters started shouting slogans against Israel-Jews on the one hand and on the other hand shouting slogans towards the Palestinians and also shouted 'Allah-hoo-Akbar' and rushed into the landing area of the airport as a result of which the flight services had to be stopped.
Although there was so much commotion, no harm was done to the passengers. However, their journey was stopped.
Russian media reports said the survey gathered to condemn Israeli actions in Gaza. They forcefully entered the air terminal and even rushed to the plane of one of the Russian airlines 'Red-Wings'. They were waving Palestinian flags. Not only that but the air-terminal was occupied.
A plane arriving there from Tel Aviv was allowed in and then checked the passports of all passengers.
In this situation, the Israeli government requested Moscow to maintain the safety of the Israelis. Netanyahu's office yesterday (Sunday) requested the protection of Jews in Russia after the incident. Russia also gave a positive answer. It was also said that such questions require patience and calmness.
