According to the agreement, at least 150 Palestinian prisoners will be released in exchange for 50 Israeli hostages. Meaning, three Palestinians will be freed for one Israeli. During his release, the Israeli government issued instructions to strictly prevent any kind of celebration inside or outside the prison.

200 truckloads of relief materials per day

Acting as a mediator, Egypt has released a list of names of hostages and prisoners to be released. Among the 240 people held hostage by Hamas are citizens of about 40 countries. Most of them also have Israeli citizenship. Majid al-Ansari, spokesman for Qatar's foreign ministry, said 200 trucks of relief supplies and four diesel-petrol tankers would be sent to Gaza every day during the ceasefire.

Operation room ready

An operation room will be set up in Qatar's capital Doha to monitor the progress of the ceasefire. This operation room will be in direct contact with the Israeli government, the Hamas political office and the Red Cross. Israeli fighter planes and drones will not be able to fly over southern Gaza during the ceasefire, while Israeli drones will be able to fly over northern Gaza during the day from 10am to 4pm.
