Riots after killing of Muslim boy in France: Largest library burnt

Paris: Riots have broken out in France after the killing of a Muslim boy. There were riots for the third day in a row and the atmosphere of tension continued. Police have arrested 600 demonstrators. More than 200 policemen have been injured in face-to-face clashes between police and demonstrators. The largest library in the French city of Marseille was set on fire. Demonstrators set fire to around 500 buildings in three days.

A 17-year-old Muslim boy was stopped at a traffic signal and shot dead in France. Riots have broken out in France after that incident. Demonstrators have become unruly and are staging violent demonstrations in most cities, including Paris. Most of the demonstrators are also said to be teenagers. Demonstrators had set fires everywhere for three days. 500 buildings were set on fire. A total of 3880 incidents of arson were reported. 2000 cars have been burnt. France's cities are in a state of war due to widespread fires.

The video of France's largest library being set on fire went viral. Thousands of books were destroyed in this fire. Police fired tear gas canisters to quell the protesters as they became unruly. Due to this, face-to-face friction increased. According to the police department, 200 policemen have been injured. A number of police vehicles were also set on fire by the rioters.

A 17-year-old boy, Nahel, was shot dead for violating traffic rules. An inquiry into the incident has been ordered. President Emmanuel Macron said that this event will not be carried out at all. The killers will be given proper punishment. Police officials apologized after the incident and assured action against the officer who committed the act. However, after this incident, anger erupted towards the police and police stations and police vehicles were set on fire. Several people in Paris lit firecrackers and threw them at policemen.
