Wentworth is a beautiful village near Rotherham, UK, which looks like it was lifted straight from the 18th century. The village buildings are maintained by the Fitzwilliam Amenity Trust. In order to preserve the historical heritage of this village, the Trust has made special rules which every house in the village must follow.

Each door was painted Wentworth Green

All of the 1400 people living in the village obey these rules, and one of them is that the door of every house in the village is painted Wentworth green and the window frames are white. However, this village looks unique and attractive in many ways. There are no supermarkets or shops in this village, but only a small and beautiful shop, where essential groceries and other items are available.

Old and new churches are also the center of attraction

Surprisingly, there are two pubs along with a restaurant, where live events are also held. There are many historic houses on the main roads here. The old and new churches here are also becoming a center of attraction for people, which people love to visit. Also 20 minutes away is the village of Wentworth Woodhouse, a Grade 1 listed country house.

Some have also been featured in films and TV shows

The village's main attraction is Wentworth Woodhouse, considered one of the grandest Georgian houses in England. It has also been featured in some movies and TV shows. Inside these houses are large state rooms and 50 acres of private gardens. Visitors rave about this place for being old but charming.
