French passport most powerful in the world, India ranked 85th

According to Henle Passport Index 2024, France's passport is the most powerful in the world. A French passport allows visa-free access to 194 countries. Previously, Japan's passport was considered the world's most powerful passport, but France 2024 has been left behind. Henley Passport releases a ranking based on how powerful the passport is.
If we talk about India, it occupies the 85th position in the passport ranking. On the basis of Indian passport one can travel visa free to 62 countries. Pakistan has a rank of 106 which is 4th from the bottom. Bangladesh ranks 101 and Maldives ranks 58. Maldivian citizens can travel to a total of 96 countries without a visa. There has been some improvement in China's ranking, which has moved from 66th to 64th.
According to the received information, to increase tourism after Corona, European countries are given visa-free entry. Hence, there has been a progress of 2 digits in his passport compared to last year. US passport holders can travel to 189 countries without a visa. An improvement of 6 digits is seen in the US passport.
Passports from France, Germany, Italy, Japan and Singapore are also considered powerful in terms of visa free. Finland, South Korea, Sweden, Austria, Denmark, Ireland, Luxembourg and the UK are number one in this order. The top five worst passports include Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Pakistan and Yemen.
