The Maldivian President who raised arms against India is coming back. Muijju may have to lose the post of President after suffering a lot of trouble in the country and the world. According to the report, an agreement has been reached regarding the impeachment motion against President Muijju of Maldives.
Muijju, who raised an eyebrow at India, who always came to help, and later sought favors from China, may be stripped of his presidency. Maldives President Muijju has been targeted by the opposition for his policies and statements. Earlier too, opposition parties questioned Muijju's anti-India stance and growing friendship with China, but now it seems that the countdown to the anti-India Muijju government has begun. The Maldives MDP parliamentary group has agreed to impeach President Muijju. The main opposition MDP has a majority in parliament.
It is said that enough signatures have been collected to present an impeachment motion against President Mohammad Muijju. More importantly, the MDP currently has the highest number of MPs in the Maldivian Parliament i.e. the Maldivian Democratic Party has the largest number of 42 in terms of numerical strength. The Maldives is a country that once had a Buddhist population and a number of Hindus as well. A country which has always been India's friend.
Relations between India and the Maldives have soured due to the policies of recently elected President Mohammad Muijju. After Muijju assumed the office of President, India's concern began to rise. Muijju has always been openly anti-India. He also raised the slogan of India Out during the elections. After that he won by majority.
