Four people were hanged in Iran early Monday morning on charges of spying for Israel.

Mohammad Farmarji, Mohsin Majloom, Wa Azarbar and Pageman Fatehi were arrested by Iranian police in July 2022. He was accused of spying on behalf of Israel's Mossad agency in a plot to destroy an Iranian defense site.

After the hearing, he was declared guilty and the death penalty was announced. It was also implemented on Monday. The information about how the death penalty has been given in this case has not been given by the government of Iran.

According to the Iranian police, the four people were associated with the Mossad. He had plotted a terrorist attack inside Iran. Weapons and explosives were also seized from them. After that, a case was filed against him.

Iran and Israel also have bitter enmity. Both the countries are constantly accusing each other of spying and waging indirect war.
