War against Hamas will last months, not days: Israel's army chief

Many countries of the world are trying to stop the war between Israel and Hamas, but Israel is not ready to believe anyone.

Now the chief of the Israeli army has warned and said that the war against the terrorists of Hamas is likely to last for many months. Army Chief Herji Halevi said that there is no magic solution to this problem.

Earlier on Monday, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has also said that the military campaign is not close to its end. He said that it is not possible to free the Israeli hostages from Hamas without military action and that is why we will not stop this fight.

On Tuesday, Israel also attacked more than 100 areas in Gaza, and according to reports, Israel is making its campaign more aggressive. Gaza's Ministry of Health says that more than 20,000 people have died in Gaza so far. Internet and telephone services are also currently down in Gaza.

Army Chief Herji Halevi said that this war may not last for days but for months. We want to eliminate Hamas completely to ensure that there will be no terrorist attacks on Israel for a long time. There is no shortcut to this fight.
