Israel-Hamas War: In a major breakthrough for Israel, the IDF discovers the longest Hamas tunnel

Israel-Hamas War 300 KM Deep Gaza Tunnel: On October 7, Hamas attacked Israel after which Israel declared war. Now this war is taking fierce form. It has been more than 80 days since this war started. In the meantime, the Israeli army is destroying the hideouts of Hamas by bombarding the Gaza Strip. Now the IDF has discovered a Hamas tunnel that is the deepest of any tunnel ever discovered, with a depth reported at 300 km.

The IDF recently discovered a heavily fortified Hamas tunnel, one of the largest discovered by Israel in the midst of the war. The tunnel is just 100 meters away from the Erase border. After a large hole was found near the border, the IDF searched it, revealing a 300 km long tunnel. According to a report, steel pipe, concrete infrastructure, electricity wires were also hanging inside the tunnel. There was no light in this tunnel so it was dark.

Hamas has been preparing the tunnels for several years

The IDF informed about the depth of the tunnel, saying that the tunnel reached more than 300 km in central Gaza City. Israel has claimed that Hamas has been building its underground infrastructure for years. The tunnel is used by fighters from Hamas and other terrorist groups. One report claims that Hamas uses the tunnels to transport and store weapons.

Also uses tunnels to trap hostages. Because, recently the Israeli army found the dead bodies of 5 hostages in a tunnel. Israel destroys Hamas tunnels and later Hamas rebuilds the tunnels.
