Islamabad, 28 December 2023, Thursday

The Indian government has demanded Pakistan to hand over Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind of the Pulwama attack and the founder of the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba.

The Indian government has clearly told Pakistan that Hafiz, who carried out terrorist attacks in India, should be extradited.

This claim has been made by the Pakistani media and due to this there is a possibility of heating up the ongoing election campaign in Pakistan. According to the Pakistani media, the Modi government has also handed over an official letter to the Pakistani Foreign Ministry. The Pakistani government is completely trapped after India's demand.

Pakistani media said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan neither supported nor denied this news. According to senior Pakistani journalist Azaz Saeed, there is no possibility of Pakistan handing over Hafiz Saeed to India. Currently, Hafiz Saeed is in jail and will have a significant influence in Pakistan's elections as well.

India has demanded extradition at a time when Hafiz Saeed's political party Pakistan Markazi Muslim League has announced that we are going to participate in the elections to be held in Pakistan next year.

It is worth mentioning that Hafiz Saeed is the mastermind of many attacks, including the terrorist attacks on Pulwama and Mumbai. He has also been declared a terrorist by the UN. America has announced a reward of one hundred thousand dollars on him.

Even after being declared a terrorist at the global level, his party has been allowed to contest elections in Pakistan. Hafiz has fielded his candidates on every seat in Pakistan. His son Talha is also going to contest the election.
