A total of 28,626 candidates in the National Assembly and Legislatures of four provinces in Pakistan

A total of 28,626 candidates, including 3,139 women, have filled the forms to contest theelections to the National Assembly and four provincial legislatures in Pakistan on February 8 .

Elections will be held for a total of 1085 seats in the National Assembly and four provincial legislatures on February 8.

Among the 1085 seats, there are 336 seats in the National Assembly. There are 226 general seats while 60 seats are reserved for women and 10 for non-Muslims. Elections are to be held for a total of 749 seats of provincial legislatures. Out of which there are 593 general and 156 reserved seats. Out of 156, 132 are reserved for women and 24 for minorities.

Punjab province has total 371 seats. In which 297 general , 66 seats are reserved for women and 8 seats are reserved for minorities.

Sindh province has a total of 168 seats. In which 130 general , 29 seats are reserved for women and 9 seats are reserved for minorities.

Khyber Pukhtunvan has total 145 seats. In which 115 general , 26 seats are reserved for women and four seats are reserved for minorities.

Balochistan province has a total of 65 seats. In which 51 general , 11 seats are reserved for women and three seats are reserved for minorities.
