Initiate investigation against Anti Stone

According to TASS, Russia's Ministry of Internal Affairs has opened a criminal investigation against Anti-Stone. However, he did not have further information about the investigation or the charges. It is to be mentioned that Russia banned both Facebook and Instagram, Meta's main social platforms, immediately after the invasion of Ukraine in February last year.

Stone accused of promoting extremist activities

Russia's Investigative Committee said in March 2022 that it had opened a criminal investigation into the illegal activities of Meta employees. The committee said that Stone, who had lifted the ban on his platforms calling for violence against the Russian military, was promoting extremist activities.
