London: Just 16-year-old Indian-origin Ishwar Sharma has won a gold medal in a yoga competition held in Sweden, adding one to his tally of gold medals.

He learned yoga from his father Vishwanath in the town of Seven Oaks in Kent and has been practicing yoga since the age of three. Since then he has been teaching (free of cost) yoga to other children since he was a teenager.

He has won a gold medal in a yoga competition for 12 to 14 year olds held in Melmo, Sweden last week. The yoga competition was organized by the International Yoga Sports Federation in collaboration with the Swedish Yoga Sports Federation.

Ishwar Sharma's family members say that through yoga, he overcame his amnesia and attention deficit disorder, and teaches other children about it.

Former Prime Minister of England Boris Johnson has given him the Point of Light Award. Ishwar's father Vishwanath is also a famous yoga guru, he is currently promoting and spreading yoga in the world. God also supports them in that.
