Gun culture is proving to be a nightmare for the American people.

22 people have died in another incident of mass shooting in the city of Lewiston, Maine, USA. Shooting incidents in public places are increasing in America and the US government has failed to control the gun culture.

The lieutenant governor of the American state of Georgia has now advocated for teachers to keep guns in schools and for this, he has also talked about giving the teachers the required training in handling guns. So that if an assailant fires indiscriminately in the school, the teachers can respond.

If this proposal is implemented, it will also put a heavy burden on the government. The LG says that it is necessary to spend on the security of schools. Training will be given to teachers and staff to teach them how to use firearms. This can cost up to $10,000 per school per year.

Along with this, he has also asked to put security guards in schools.

The state of Georgia has also had its share of gun massacres. Gun culture is why LG is speaking out to protect schools. Former US President Donald Trump is also in favor of arming security officers in schools.

He believes that most of the time the attackers are targeting the school itself. Because there are no security guards stationed with guns.

However, many people are also protesting the proposal of LG of Georgia. According to Lisa Morgan, president of the Georgia Association of Educators, our organization opposes teachers being armed with guns in schools. The government should consider another option to solve this problem.
