New allegations are being made every day in the controversy caused by the statement of Canadian PM Trudeau, who held India responsible for the killing of Nijjar, a terrorist from Khalistan.
Now the American ambassador based in Canada has admitted for the first time that Canada was given secret information on the killing of Niger by the Five Eyes organization. Due to which Canadian PM Justin Trudeau accused India.
The Canadian media is publishing this statement of the American ambassador to Canada, David Cohen. Cohen said that there was an exchange of information about this matter between Five Eyes. Regarding this, Trudeau made a statement against India in Parliament.
Cohen said in a media interview that the information given to Canada was based on human investigation or surveillance or intercepted conversations of Indian ambassadors... I will not comment on that.
At the same time, Cohen also said that there is no fact in the press reports that Canada forced America to condemn the killing before Trudeau made the accusation.
It is worth mentioning that Five Eyes is a coalition of America, Britain, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. which regularly share sensitive information related to security with each other. Canada's media report has indirectly said that these allied countries of Canada also have the knowledge of India's involvement in Nijjar's murder.
