There is a bitter rivalry between former PM Nawaz Sharif and Imran Khan in Pakistan and a glimpse of it was seen on live TV.
During a TV debate, lawyer Sher Afzal Khan, leader of Imran Khan's party Tehreek-e-Insaf, and senator Afnan Ullah Khan of Nawaz Sharif's party Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz clashed with each other. Not only that, they started fighting in front of the camera. People say that Pakistani TV channels are becoming a breeding ground for fights.
In the debate, lawyer Sher Afzal Khan and Senator Afnan Ullah Khan got angry at each other on that political issue. Seeing the sight, both of them started insulting each other. After that they came to blows on live broadcast. The clip of both of them fighting is going viral on social media.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Senator Afnan Ullah Khan leveled serious allegations against Imran Khan during the debate and alleged behind-the-scenes conversations with army officials.
Instead of answering, Sher Afzal Khan was agitated. He got up from the chair and jumped Afnan Ullah Khan. After that, the senator retaliated and started kicking Sher Afzal Khan on the ground.
The news anchor conducting the debate tried to stop him but was unsuccessful. Both the leaders were fighting each other as if they were in a boxing ring.
Later Senator Afnan said that Sher Afzal Khan attacked me. I am a soldier of Nawaz Sharif. Imran Khan's party leaders will not do such things after the lesson he has learned.
