The biggest misconception among people about lung cancer is that this disease can only happen to cigarette or hookah smokers, but it is not at all that lung cancer is caused only by smoking cigarettes. Lung cancer can also occur in non-smokers or people who are not addicted to smoking. According to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), more than 50% of lung cancer cases occur in people who have never smoked. Second hand smoking
There are many people who do not smoke but are exposed to smokers. Also called second hand smoking. Lung cancer is one of the biggest risk factors among non-smokers.
Family history
Family history is also a reason behind lung cancer. Gene mutations can increase the risk of lung cancer in family members. If any of your family members have had lung cancer, you are also at risk of developing the disease.
Due to chemical reaction
Many times, due to working in such a place, one becomes a victim of lung cancer. In simple terms, people who work at arsenic, uranium, asbestos and diesel export sites have a higher risk of developing lung cancer.
Radiation exposure
Radiation exposure can cause lung cancer by damaging DNA in lung cells. People exposed to high levels of ionizing radiation, such as those working in the nuclear industry, are at increased risk of developing lung cancer.

Drink enough water

Do breathing exercises
Focus on your breathing to do breathing exercises. It calms and relaxes the mind. Pranayama, Kapalbhati and mouth blowing. Doing this makes the lungs strong.
Quit smoking immediately
Smoking causes carbon monoxide, nicotine and tar to reach the lungs. All these elements are harmful for lungs. So change the smoking habit.
