The Taliban continue to impose restrictions that make life difficult for women in Afghanistan.

The Taliban has now issued a new order and according to this women can no longer sit in a taxi without wearing a veil. A taxi driver in Herat city says that I have stopped taking women who are not wearing the veil. Because if the woman is not wearing a burqa, the Taliban beat the taxi driver and seize his taxi.

It has become difficult for women to move freely under the Taliban regime. Earlier, the Taliban government had banned beauty parlors. Women also took to the streets to protest against this.

Earlier, women were prohibited from going alone in public places like parks. Various restrictions have been imposed on women's education.
