During the discussion at the ongoing Russia-Africa Forum in St. Petersburg, Russian President Putin said that the initiative for peace from China or the advice from Africa to hold peace talks with Ukraine can be the basis for establishing peace between Russia and Ukraine. Said that a cessation of hostilities is not possible as long as the Ukrainian army continues to attack Russia.
Ukraine's army is aggressive: Putin
Since June, when African countries have been trying to mediate between Russia and Ukraine to build mutual trust, Putin bluntly said, "Ukraine's army is very aggressive. They are conducting a large-scale offensive tactical campaign. If they attack So why don't we fight back. Some people want peace talks, we're not rejecting them. You know I've said before that we've never rejected peace talks."
Attack on Moscow after Putin's statement
However, within hours of Putin's statement, Russia announced that a Ukrainian drone had attacked the capital Moscow. Due to which a government office has been damaged and one person has been injured. Officials added that following the incident, all flights at Southwest Vnukovo Airport were temporarily suspended. However, Ukraine has not commented on this incident.
