Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will return to Pakistan', Shahbaz Sharif's statement

Pakistan's former prime minister Nawaz Sharif fled the country fearing jail after being found guilty in a corruption case. Nawaz Sharif, who has been the prime minister of Pakistan for three times, has been living in London since 2019. But now he can return to Pakistan.
Shahbaz Sharif said this
The Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif gave a statement about this and said that Nawaz Sharif is going to return in a few weeks. Shahbaz Sharif said that the information regarding the dissolution of the Pakistan National Assembly will be sent to the President before the end of the term on August 12. The decision regarding the acting PM will be taken after discussion with the Leader of the Opposition. He said that before this consultation will be taken from the National Assembly and all the allied parties.
Nawaz Sharif will contest elections?
Earlier, Pakistan's Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar said that Nawaz Sharif's lifetime disqualification is over and now he can contest elections. Nawaz Sharif was disqualified from the post of Prime Minister by the Supreme Court in 2017, then in 2018 the Supreme Court disqualified him from holding public office for life after he was found guilty in the Panama Papers case. On the riots in May following the arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan in a corruption case, Shehbaz Sharif said the former prime minister was the mastermind of the riots, which aimed to topple the military leadership and a civilian.

On the other hand, Imran Khan, who was ousted by a no-confidence motion in April last year, was arrested in a corruption case, which sparked violent protests in Pakistan. Imran Khan was arrested in the Islamabad High Court in the Al Qadir Trust case. On this, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that apart from PTI activists, a group of politicians, some army personnel and their families were also involved in the incidents on May 9, which the army termed as a black day.
