Sita Mata Nepal's daughter, Kathmandu's mayor got angry over Adipurush film, threatened

Balen Shah, the mayor of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, is again in discussion.

Earlier, Balen Shah had opposed the map of integral India in the Parliament of India and now he has objected to the film Adipurush. He says that in this film, Sita Mata is considered as the daughter of India while Sita Mata was born in Janakpur, Nepal. If this mistake is not rectified, no Indian film will be allowed to be released in Kathmandu.

After Balen Shah's threat, the Censor Board of Nepal has stayed its order to screen the film Adi Purush in the country.

The controversial statement on Sita's place of birth has been removed from the film following Balen Shah's protest. However, even after that, the suspense remains on the release of the film.

Balen Shah, in response to the earlier map of unbroken India, had installed a map of Greater Nepal in his office, showing areas of India in Nepal.

There is talk in Nepalese political circles that Balen Shah is trying to gain popularity and advance his political career by making anti-India statements like Poli.
